15th February is the start of half term. I was looking forward to lots of riding; however, we have had a lot of snow! See pictures below:
We got another little surprise in the post this week - the NCPA year book, which had a lovely little write up of Talisker Bow Bells:
Due to the cancellation of the hunt meet on 28th February, I decided to take the boys to the beach! We had perfect weather and my best friend, Rachel, met us there and took some photos for me. Bow experienced having a new rider on for the first time (Fergus)! We put some of our sponsored supplements to good use and the boys enjoyed travelling with some Equilibrium Products Vita Munch and had some Restore in their water to help replenish after some canter work! See photos below:
The following day, mum and I travelled 4 hours south to Newbury for the HPEC AGM and performance awards. It was a worth while journey as Bow won the overall stallion award! We won a lovely trophy and rosette. It was great to meet some new Highland pony lovers and some old friends for a catch up...
We have also enjoyed some hacking this month to improve our fitness levels before next month's gallop and champagne breakfast ride!
